I forget how great picnics are. I want to do them every weekend now, but we will see if that really happens.

Little picnic in the park turned out to be a laying out session...trying to achieve the summer glow that Oregonians cannot get enough of.

Maybe someday we can upgrade our picnic menu of PB &J to baskets like these!

I told you would make it at home!

I made the mistake by thinking I was really cool by not using Texas toast bread and using Challah bread, BUT don't do what I did because the bread is to thick, so it leaves you with crunchie captain crunch on the outside with doughy bread that couldn't cook the whole way through. Sad me, but happy Mr. because he loves doughyness.

you can make them really plain for the picky eaters (won't mention names ha.)

Captain Crunch French Toast is a little twist to add to your regular boring french toast also fun surprise for Saturday brunch. Have fun making it!

4th of July.

Every 4th of July we have a huge WHIPPLE REUNION...this here is was a "small" get together compared to the reunions. It was super fun relaxed time with the fam.
