UTAH Trip.

I get asked a lot, I mean  A LOT...HOW CAN YOU GO ON SO MANY TRIPS? my answer is: How can I NOT go on so many trips? Or I get, WHY DO YOU GO ON SO MANY TRIPS? my anser is: WHY NOT? I love getaways, I love travel, I love vacations, I love exploring, I love discovering, call what you want, I love it all. I travel cheap, if that makes you feel better. My flights are usually millage plus aka FREE, my hotel/ air mattress is always free, and well food is where I splurge cause that is only sometimes free. PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE traveling can be VERY cheap. SO don't go thinking I'm some independently wealthy soul, cause I'm not! I am all about the deals,
you know I like to get the most bang for my buck.
So that being said, I made a trip to Utah.
It was a delicious time and here's why:
Tip #1, buy a Pumpkin Smash Jamba Juice before you go through security BECAUSE then you have something to sip on for 30 minutes while you wait in line.
This is what my brother's ordered, now I think we can say the love of food runs in my family. I think it's in our DNA or genes or whatever thanks to my mom.
Then we headed to City Creek for some shopping:
First night, first round of cupcakes. Now UTAH people don't be offended that I thought your precious The Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes weren't all that the Cupcake Wars had them cracked up to being. sorry.
Although I will say the shop was pretty cute.

FaceTime with my Mr. who had to stay home, work and school, such a bummer. I can explain the pizza, I wasn't talking with a pizza, I was however examining what Mr. was eating for dinner while was away for SIX nights. Everything he ate consisted of being frozen 10 minutes prior to being in his mouth...yikes.
OKAY so Logan knows there cupcakes apparently BECAUSE these were amazing, I don't know if it's because they were my breakfast or the fact that we were the first customers and got hot ones.
NOW for the big reveil.
BEFORE and AFTER of my desperate need of a change/of anything.
Note to self...get letters that spell HAIR for my salon.
SO I got my hair done by Michelle Money, she was amazing! I love her youtube channel called MMandLshow. Subscribe, you won't regret it, she and her friend Laura are super hilar and very helpful. I started watching her show and knew she had just opened a salon and I was coming to Salt Lake and so I thought....appointment!!!
Michelle is the sweetest.
I am so exited to be doing Public Relations for her.
The story behind this happening is crazy.
After my appointment Alesha and I headed to Provo after eating the long and awaited Costa Vida salad for lunch, then we tried and attempted to get pedicures at the Riverwoods, ugh the place was closed.
Then it was time for dinner, FAMILY DINNER, at In-N-Out of course.
Classic Whipple fav.
We got our burgers and fries to go and headed to Reed and Conner's place!
Really regret not getting more pictures!
SO UNLIKE ME, RIGHT?!
Anyways it was a blast seeing my cousins, just love them and wish we could see more of each other.
Now that we are "grown-up" we rarely get the chance to hang out.
I feel so lucky to have so many cousins my age who are funnest and my FRIENDS.
Gosh dang it LIFE, wish we weren't all so busy with school/work/missions/weddings.
Then the next morning, I had breakfast with the Miskins (love these two).
It was so great staying TWO nights with this cousin of mine.
HB, aka Hannah Banana, is one of my "BEST COUSINS"
(Alta, Shayla, Hannah...remember those t-shirts I got made with Best CuZins on the front?
i still have mine)
Anyways we downed some Kneeder's French Toast.
I could use a plate right now--sounds so good.
Gosh isn't Kneeder's just the best?
So then I headed to Salt Lake for a PR meeting, then spent the rest of the evening at the temple. I have always wanted to go inside this beautiful place since I was a little girl and I finally got the opportunity/had the time. Isn't the Salt Lake Temple so  pretty?
OKAY sorry to all vegetarians, this pic is pretty graphic. Tucanos was my favorite place when I lived in Provo 5 years ago (I haven't been back since freshmen year).
Tucanos is a Brazilian grill, all you can eat salad and meat.
Now this house makes me think Provo could be a great place to live? haha
All the houses in my friend Hayley's neighborhood were amazing and unbelievable that they exist in PROVO!
It was so great to spend TWO nights with Hayley!
I hadn't seen her since my wedding.
So this visit was much needed.
I got to meet her little baby boy...SHE HAD A BABY! Isn't it weird when your friends start to have babies? Owen is one of a kind. He doesn't cry, he wimpers, ugh he is CUTE!!
We got her roots under-control while I was there, we went for the ombre/blonder look:
Look at those roots, gosh we need to live closer so this won't happen again :)
How funny and so Utah is this sign?
After hair, we needed a treat!
Coco Bean was an obvious choice.
Holy YUMMERS.
Better then whatever... cupcake was bomb
and the cinnamon carmel apple cupcake was pretty delish too.
It's really not fair that Provo has this many great places to eat.
We got some drinks, I heard a lot of hype about Coco's drinks, not that amazing,
however the cupcakes sure were!!
Then at this point you probably think I have already gained a few pounds, BUT no I headed to Pizzeria  712 with my friend Mary and Emma cutest RM's (return missionaries) for some dinner. I hadn't seen Mary since we took pretty much all of our classes together. She was the one who would drive me to the airport when Andrew and I were doing the whole long distance relationship nonsense.
Seriously is was so great to see all my friends and family!
 It was jam-packed of visiting.
THEN Hayley and I went a movie-- Pitch Perfect--hilarious.
AND then stocked up on exclusive UT frooties!
I can't find them anywhere in Oregon.
The next day I got a pedicure, MUCH NEEDED BTW.
Then went to a bazaar at Thanksgiving Point.
Utah should be the capital of all things CRAFTY.
THEN once we got inspiration at the bazaar we headed to HOBBY LOBBY--
greatest craft store EVER!
I was in ornament heaven, can you believe this place?
There were 5 rows just like this one full of ornaments.
Then I went upstairs to the fabrics.
FINALLY found some modern fabric for pillows I am going to make.
THEN my wonderful cousin Erica picked me up for some CHOCOLATE time, as if I haven't had enough chocolate. Erica and I share this love for cute bakery/shops.
HOW DELSIH?
It was so great to catch up on the tastiest cup of hot coco.
Side note, how great is her car?
I think it's our dad's duties to make sure we drive nothing newer then cars from 1991. I drove a GEO when I lived in Provo, Shayla remember how great the GEO was?
haha nothing better then driving up to party in that thing! Hottie alert!
On my last night we went to Cafe Rio. To die for salad.
I think I would move to Utah just for Cafe Rio salad.
Then the next day Hayley and I headed to Salt Lake, looked at houses...
DREAM houses located on Avenues.

The trip was filled with talking and eating.
Two really great things.
I lost my voice.
THANK YOU to all!
Shout out to:
Jake & Kyle for picking me up!
Grant family for letting me stay with you!
Alesha for driving me to Salt Lake!
Hannah and Tyler for letting me stay with you & borrowing your car!
Hayley for letting me stay with you and driving & entertaining me!!!
Love you all.
Thank you!

Then in 1 hour and 45 minutes I was back home waiting for Mr. to pick me up in the RAIN.
Nothing says it better that your back in Oregon like a good down-pour.
