Valentines Day.

valentines day was hilar.
we had an italian dinner party with my mom, my brother in-law & his girlfriend, and mr.'s co-worker.
it was a crack up.

mr. did a solid job this year with a box of my favorite chocolates, my favorite candle, my "favorite" bundle of flowers.

bravo.

anddddd i took like no photos becauseeee we had just finished unpacking that day and the camera was off somewhere hiding.

so there ya go valentines 2014. a day that we will never forget.

tonight we celebrate valentines just us two... even if it's a week later.

Be My Valentine?

So Valentines Day happened to my first day at my new job. 

So I got home at 5 to this note:

I walk in the door to Mr. al dressed up with a trail of roses with Ella Fitzgerald playing in the background...um hello romantic. 

I got ready not knowing what to wear (i hate when that happens)

OKAY biggest news ever...Mr. drank Strawberry Lemonade!!!! first he hates anything citrus and hates strawberries. I know, I know...picky! Well turns out he had a change of heart on Valentines Day and totally forgot about his taste pallet. 

5 course meals are the best...it's like the on-going excitement for the next portion of the meal to come. 

Also I got a rose at the end of dinner...felt so special...

no wonder the Bachelorette contestants cry every time they don't get one.
