The Oscars.

how great was the oscars???

ellen was amazingly funny.
we found ourselves rewinding it to get every word in.
she's my fav.
her epic selfie and the pizza was just a crack up.

the selfie that crashed twitter.

we had ourselves a little celebration starting at 2pm...red carpet live...red carpet everything.
we ate. laughed. and critiqued.
i would like to say i beat andrew on this years ballot. (by a lot but we won't talk about that)
he wasn't to happy.
i hate to say that my term in cinematography really paid off...lol beating andrew in some sort of competition was so much fun. (is that bad that i find it fun beating my husband? whoops)

andrew whipped up his famous cake. and i topped it with gold glitter (edible)

so at trader joes they have chocolate potato chips...however they are pricey...you get like 4 for $4 not really, but i'm not too off.
anyways for a budget friendly alternative i dipped some chips myself.
they were so yummy & i'm totally going to pull "my mom" on this one and say "i liked mine better"
sorry trader joes.

pippa wasn't impressed with the gowns or the tuxes.
trader joes has these mini chicken pot pies...totes delish. a must trader joes try.

After Work.

When you work 9-5 looking a computer analyzing stats, percentages, and other boring marketing things your brain needs a brake, therefore I try to do stress-free activities after work. Change of scenery is always GREAT.
Here is a photo dump of what happens after work...
My cousin introduced me to Sammy's pie shakes. We got Peach Cobbler, Mint Oreo, and Pumpkin Pie...and we all sampled each others and voted PUMPKIN the best!

Andrew finally experienced Brick Oven Pizza, ya know it's just one of those hilar Provo places I use to go to Freshmen year.
We ate this cute Scandie breakfast place one Saturday morning. I never go out to breakfast anymore, it use to be one of my favorite things to do when I didn't a 9-5 job, so when a Saturday morning comes a long where we aren't doing anything I jump on the opportunity.
We shopped on 9th & 9th one day, it's a cute street with cute shops in Sugarhouse. It's not THAT amazing, sorda disappointed.
I spent $1.89 on this tiny macaroon and told myself that would be the last time.
THAI! oh and our leftovers that we looked forward to for lunch the next day never happened because we totally forgot out our box!!
Really devastating.
After work your brain is fried when you trying to learn all these new things you never learned in college. So Pippa cuddles are a really great way to rewind and let go of frustration... that you never learned Photoshop.
Girls nights are now on Tuesday nights, my friend from college and I headed to Nordstrom for a sampling night, went to all the counters and tried all of our dream products. We filled our purses with Dior and Channel creams and potions.
We ended the night with Italian dinner, highly recommended Trio restaurant.
I really don't LOVE Italian because I never order pasta right.
So this time we had the waiter decide and it was delish!

Oh and I got  Utah driver license,
not sure how I feel about being an "official" Utah resident. Weird feeling.
One evening we got to be models for my cousins mentoring sesh with an amazing photographer. I love the photos and will post some of my favs shortly.
Well peeps that's a little post on what I do after work.
