We Really Did Move.

So a couple weeks ago we left our 100 year old home in Oregon. I made a video to remember our house and HOW HARD IT WAS TO PACK UP EVERY LITTLE THING. Watching this video made miss and happy we left that house. The old door knobs and the sunny solarium are things I miss. The green molding bathroom and busy street are things I'm happy about leaving behind. Maybe soon I will get to working on the move to UT. For the past week at work I have been working on PMD's YouTube campaign, when all you do for 8 hours a day is edit b-roll the last thing you want to do is go home and make one for yourself....
so I would like to applaud my tired self for this "production" :
Thank ya thank ya very much.
How cute was Penny?
I miss that face, I wish U.S. postage could add shipment of 3 year-old to their services.
Until then, videos will have to do.
Maybe one day I will get my blogging act together and start posting bout our new life.
Time is a crucial thing.
My time has been spent putting our house together and marketing this device:

This Road.

We are getting lost, our GPS is being overused, our sense of direction is lacking.
It's the awkward time of somewhere new.
Where is the closest...this or that?
So much as been happening this week/ has happened this week. It's been exactly one week that we have been UT residents. It's been a hard but great week all at the same time.
I'm starting to realize that I need to relax and enjoy the scenery of this journey we are on.
AND that it's A-okay to be lost once in awhile.
Remember:
It's important to do something today that your future self will thank you for.

it's my birthday...

So on Wednesday it was my birthday...I turned 24.
I like even numbers.
For my birthday this year we had the tradish fam whipple dinner on Monday and then on my "real" birthday Andrew let me have the "perfect" day. What do you do when someone tells you you can do whateverrrrr you want! hmmmm well that's a hard one. I decided after some thought ha- that we would go to Papa's Pizza for the lunch buffet...yup. Then go get pedicures, then go to Potter's Quarter which is a place where you get to paint any piece of pottery. Haven't done it in years! Took us 2 hours to paint a mug! Then to Marche for dinner, tjs for some gazing, and Sweet Life for dessert and a movie rental to end the night.
I had two cakes, one poppy seed raspberry and then classic yellow and chocolate. Both my fav.
Andrew got me some Starbucks hot coco and a cake pop while a finished a work project.
The night before my birthday Mr. got me a balloon bouquet and maroons. Little surprises are the best.

Okay note to self:
Every birthday go to Tjs for some late night shopping...Mr. is extra nice on birthdays aka won't yell at you for wanting to go down every aisle. Also don't ever rent or see or just try and erase every memory of watching Fast Food Nation....scarred for life. Why did I CHOSE to watch that? Why did I think it was going to be good?
