Happy Birthday Mr.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE BEST FRIEND I EVER HAD! love him to pieces.
Loving the birthday pedicure!

Doughnuts after!

Little pool time before our flight.

Really sad to leave.

Last day in Florida was a very sad day for us, even if we were trying to celebrate the birthday boy!
So when we got home we celebrated for real with a family birthday party, BUT first thing was breakfast in bed decked-out with the "You are special today" mug and plate!

Went to work on the Cafe Rio salad he requested for his B-day dinner

Homemade tortillas are actually really hard to make flat and perfect looking! Don't let the little ingredients needed fool you!

Birthday smiles from the nieces

Birthday Kisses

The little helpers.

I totally SURPRISED  him with an iPad. FINALLY, after all the talking and begging for one.

Dessert request was ice cream cake. Super easy to make (nutter-butter crust with couple layers of chocolate peanut butter theme with caramel) You can make so many types of ice cream cakes. I have done oreo crust or chip ahoy crust with any ice cream variations.

I made homemade ice cream sandwiches too!

Loving the new life on the iPad.

Birthdays are so much fun! I am all about birthdays, even though Andrew has never been a huge birthday fan I am slowly trying to teach him how special they should be.  He says I love to celebrate everything. That may be semi true, but the truth is birthdays are a day to celebrate someone and when it's someone you love you can't help showering them with treats and gifts. His birthday was all weekend long. Seeing every movie he wanted and eating all of his favorite foods. He used and abused the "It's my birthday so I want to do this____" He got away with it for 5 days too. I guess it was his birthweek.  Just wait till my birthmonth! :)
