Day one of NYC consisted of:
Alice's Tea Cup for brunch where we ate the best pumpkin caramel & berry scones you will ever eat.
Christmas tea was great too!
The tea menu is pages long.
THEN we were off to the bar...the DRY bar for a cosmo on the rocks aka curls with with body.
Why is it so great?
Um, can't explain it other then if you get the chance go.
Did I mention we REALLY needed a blow-out?!?
Really need this light fixture for my salon...how cute?!
Got WATER?
NYC makes you thirsty! All that walking! and walking! and walking!
Scrub Scrub in the tub...with Staten Island girl, her accent was so great and her story of living through hurricane sandy was just like what we see on tv.
ALL DONE!
Hair styled for the week--Check!
THEN we were off to walk the Brooklyn Bridge:
So pretty--an amazing view--can't beat it!
THEN headed for some Grimaldi's pizza, yummers:
Okay this was funny, right when our waiter brought the pizza out we both got our phones out and starting clicking away, great minds think alike or maybe photo addicts think alike.
Also funny, our waiter took like 5,000 photos of us,
we didn't complain cause its us we are talking about.
THEN we did a little outfit of the day:
WE both talked about how our husband's sorda kinda struggle taking outfit of the day pics for us and agreed they both need to take a photography class or SOMETHING.
WE love them both!
THEN we headed back to the Frandsen household:
so homegirl could get to class and I could rest my sore feet
Can't wait for some dessert at cafe lalo tonight also known as the cafe in You've Got Mail where Tom Hanks come in while Meg Ryan waits with a rose and
he realizes it's the shopgirl who he is putting out of business.
Great movie!
