NYC: Day 5

NYC: Day 5
Today we slept in late to recoup from our 113 block run last night. We got our butts to Levain Bakery for one of their overly talked about cookies. We got 3 out of the 4 flavors.
Okay where do I begin about these cookies:
First off the bakery is the size of my closet and the menu has 11 items on it.
It's crowded full of cookie-monsters.
See picture below for the jammed packed-ness? But this isn't a surprise or anything because EVERYTHING in NYC is PACKED FULL TO THE MAX of PEOPLE.
Subway at 5pm ring a bell?
We got our cookies and got our bench and went at it.
We bit into a thick chunky warm cookie.
OH and I had to try their banana bread because it's one of my favorite things that I never get/ or make because Andrew hates banana bread.
IT WAS TASTY and thick. Did I feel thick after eating it....hmmmm.
I feel like NYC goes over and beyond in everything. For an example they take a simple chocolate chip cookie and explode it to a whole new level. Beyond one's imagination--
Who knew a chocolate chip cookie could be so gooey yet dense yet hot yet crunchy!! ?
They were out of their sticky buns at 12pm, don't get me started on that disappointment.
SOLD OUT!!!!! WHAT?
OKAY so then after we freaked about a cookie we went to our next freak-out moment.
 PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We both have this weird complicated love for the phantom.
What can we say we have a thing for bad boys!?
Had to the resist the cheesy phantom merchandise.
Not going to lie I wouldn't mine a phantom mask for the costume box...next year's halloween costume?
We knew all the songs and I cried a little...I'm a romantic.
We were so torn between Raoul or Phantom?
It's a hard choice.
Yup our smiles should give you a little indication of how we felt about this show.
We have basically waited our entire lives to see it.
I mean the movie just doesn't count, although I love IT!
Our seats sucked BUT it didn't matter cause we may have moved down to some empty seats that were 100 seats closer--"don't mind if I do"
Do you ever dream of Phantom or maybe just being able to sing like Christine?
"THAT'S ALL I ASK OF YOUUUU!!!!!!!!!!"
 mmmmmmmm k....
THEN after that we sang ourselves to the four-story Forever21 in Time Square.
It was quite the extravaganza as far as Forever21's go.
THEN  headed to Benny Boy's show/gig/famous going to be at Madison Square Garden next year.
Quote me on that.
Okay so Benny or you can call him Ben is a little bit of a....hmmm what do you call him...freak of nature. Excels in everything sorda thing. Okay so anyways he plays the cello HELLO! and he is in a band I know there is some fancy name for it other than band but for this blog we will keep it simple.
I do like fancy things but not so much fancy words.
We had a bomb dinner while we listend to classical gone hipster music.
It was a very NYC...eating dinner in little cafe listening to local signer song writer.
Totally bought Micky's cd hopefully it's not another Scotty Rotten.
THEN on our way to the subway we spotted this food truck!
WAFFLES at 9pm WHY NOT?
These waffles put Off The Waffle to shame Eugenie's.
AND that ended our night...
OH and the Duck game of course once we got home.
What a game!!! I looked like a freak screaming. REALLY STANFORD? REALLY!
NOW for our sad attempt of Outfit of the Day:
Told ya--sad.
Better photos tomorrow maybe.
