Basketball Wives.

Last week I had the privileged of watching Mr. win a Championship game...after 8 years of watching him play football, basketball, and baseball in high school and college he finally got that Championship. It was so funny after the game while we are walking out, Mr. says, Who would have thought my first championship would be for church-ball! Well, ya lose some and ya win some. First Sunday at church, Mr. already made some friends and was going to church ball on Tuesday. Long story short they made it to the play-offs and it was a pretty hilarious series of games to watch--very intense.
I have decided that it's a thousand times easier for guys to make friends because of sports, women don't have church ball or open gym to go to and meet people. I need to figure out some sorda activity that women can get together that burns some calories!
Why don't we have something 3 times a week like the men?
hmmmmmm
The play-offs were so intense that there was an audience...so funny. All the wives of the players attended. We got so into it-- in the middle of our cheering and screaming we would ask ourselves WHY DO WE CARE? this is church-ball there is no $5,000,000 winning bonus,
I mean there was a bag bonus...just as good.
Bruce is Millcreek 5th Ward's biggest fan.
He has an oxygen tank that he had the players sign.
He got so excited he rushed the court and his tubes came out of his nose.
He had to turn up his oxygen during the final moments.

We headed to Sub Zero for ice cream (anyone watch Shark Tank? this shop was on it).
How nasty does his Pastatio ice cream creation look?

  1. My mom's friend used to hold yoga or Tae Bo nights at the church when the men were playing basketball -- they'd just take over the Relief Society room. You could do something like that!
