AZ.

we had a yummy pit stop in scottsdale. it was a long pit stop. some people may call it a vacation. some people call it a rest stop, BUT the truth is my dad & uncle had work in scottsdale the same week we were passing through to texas. we didn't want to miss out on the fam pow-wow or the most awk snoring mix of people in one room.
the most memorable hotel stay.
dad on one bed. andrew& i on the other bed. my uncle on a pull out cot that squeaked every time he moved. pippa in her kennel in the bathroom.
it was a symphony of snoring.

we shopped at our fav store. ate some bomb food. and fit in some hot tub time.

we decided to hit up the gym to burn off our huge burgers!!! and we spilt a shake. oops.
holy delish = ZinBurger.

we totally scored with free meals from dad's company.
free lunch at the pool.
free dinner at the Old Town Tortilla Factory.

oh and some great shave ice from pops.
he was not convinced nothing could ever be in the same ball park as Matsumoto.
honestly bahama bucks is pretty great & i would almost say its comparable to hawaiian shave ice we LOVE.

we took our last sprinkles run with uncle mike. (luckily there is a sprinkles in Houston...BUT no sprinkles ice cream :( AND no uncle mike)
this summer we will be thinking of our one and hopefully not our only summer at newport beach.

new sam edelman shoes from last chance...only $29.99

and then i accidentally slipped into a cupcake at the pool.
forget about slipping on water.

while mr. was working out i went and got my hair done by my fellow classmate from my BYU interior design days. it's funny we both started college for interior design and then both went to beauty school!

so on our way out of town i stopped at kneaders to pick up a loaf of bread & of course a few baked goods....anyways i thought "i want to go see the new gilbert temple, but who knows how far it will be off the 10." wellllll....to my surprise it was across the "street" from kneaders. YAHOO!
so i zipped over there for a quick peak.

you don't EVEN know how MUCH i miss kneaders. the one good thing to come from UT. (jk)

AZ I LOVE YOU.

i think it's the prettiest desert.
i aways have & always will love you.
i wonder if one day we can call it home.
