Unpacking.

We find ourselves unpacking brown boxes once again.
finding spots for all our junk
&
discovering things that were "lost" on move numero uno.
nevertheless it's been a thrilling and exhausting move (like they all have been.)
thank goodness we had so much help!
we unloaded the truck in an HOUR! that's it.
and it took two days to "unpack". the curtains and pictures are up.
thanks to my special help.

bhldn (anthro wedding store) was on my list ever since i knew Houston had one.
they had a wedding event with crave cupcakes that we stopped in on.
ohhhhh to be in the wedding business...wouldn't that be divine/awful all at the same time.

andrew loves my mom's cinnamon rolls along with the rest of the fam.
for valentine's eve mom made us some grand fluffy rolls we devoured.
thanks mom for whipping them up and making it look so easy.

this bbq place is so delish. we went here when we were house hunting and i was super sick so i didn't really get to 100% enjoy it. the second time around was oh my gosh so good.
um i need this.
houston has a museum district & on thursdays they are free!
and the zoo is free the first tuesday of every month from 2-close!
i love that part of town.
the homes and restaurants are all so cute.

and i totes matched the brochure so i totes had to take a snap. yikes

we've been eating a lotttttt. a lot, a lot.
unpacking some.
the house is livable. unpacked. not really organized. but that's part two.

mom flew & rescued us from the insanity that a move brings. it was pretty awesome having homemade meals and a friend to explore TX with. we took a few days to see austin & san antonio while andrew was on a business trip in san diego last weekend.

i can't believe we moved in two weeks ago!
we don't know what make of this place.
other then it's huge.
so spread out.
and a lot of traffic.
