we headed downtown to finally use my birthday gift card at CPK, which reminded us of CA. 

we both love pizza. 

people crave pasta or burgers. 

nope. not this girl. 

mine is pizza. 

i love a good slice of P.I.Z.Z.A (..."put it on the pizza"...anyone watch mary kate & ashley olsen?

i introduced mr. to the best bar in town...the chocolate bar. 

i went on a girls night and was in love. 

we wanted a treat after pizza so i knew of the exact place to give us our sugar fix. 

i went on my first "friend's blind date".

a friend from school told me of her friend that recently moved to h-town. 

naturally/hesitantly we got a lunch date set up. 

so glad i got out of comfort zone of the whole "we don't know each other" thing or "won't that be weird to go to lunch with someone i've never met?"

so glad we did because we became instant friends. 

i love ruggles green. 

great place for lunch. 

i think it's tooooo healthy for mr. meaning it's the perf place for a girls night. 

& around the corner is shop called sweet

it's full sweets & it's sweet. loved the decor & omg great cupcakes with the perf amount of frosting. 

so true. bravo. 

i got the lemon blueberry cupcake. when i don't go with mr. i get what i want.
he hates citrus & we share things. meaning i always have to get what he wants cause he never likes what i want. 

oh yeah, we had our wedding anniversary and i surprised my husband of 3 whole years with
the finest donuts texas had to offer.

shipley's. they are good. BUT not like anything you haven't had. if that makes sense.
i still love voodoo & pc market maple bars in eugene. those are amazing.
i've been around the donut block many times & know 100% those are the best.

tried a hipster ice cream joint called FAT CATS.
it was cute.
but only had 5 flavors & i'm a girl who likes options, therefore i'm giving them a 2 star.
