Summer Days.

summer is over. duh
but i had a post hidden as a draft that i'm now publishing.

if you go to costco then go to your grocery store you can customize your trail mix.
such a leslie whipple thing to do of me...i know.

houstonians, don't you love central market?
it reminds me of market of choice in eugene...NOT as good but it's a step in the right direction.
good job houston!

they candy in bulk which makes me really happy.
i miss winco so much.
i don't want to talk about it i might cry.
the sad part is i discovered palm desert had a winco right before we moved.

they have anthro candles for a lot cheaper too!
and really cute lunch boxes.
double thumbs up.

i bought this honey because of how freakin cute southern it screamed to me.
it was one of those things i knew andrew would never think we needed (he would say why not go for the $2 honey in the tube), good thing he wasn't there :)

when you don't work everyday you get bored and go grocery shopping...lol for fun.

during the summer i discovered pedicures at my gym...aveda pedi's are the bomb, but ya know what's even better?...polish change for $10..they soak and shape them!
it's not just a polish change it's much more.
almost just like a pedi but for a fraction of the price.

there is a pretty great thai place in our neighborhood which is really exciting because they are no cool restaurants in the burbs...unless you think the olive garden is cool then you will be a happy camper in the burbs!

i discovered art walls in houston! austin you're not the only place with art walls now.

i also discovered the best cinnamon roll recipe.
BUT i tried making them again for bachelor night
AND they didn't turn out round 2!
ugh i think my yeast was expired.

doing hair in the summer continued...while looking for a full-time mon-fri. job so i could have weekends with andrew.
not having weekends with your spouse is sooooo not cool.!
it gets old after awhile.

summer was good.
we made it through the loathed southern summers.
really not THAT bad.
nothing compared to our summer in the desert.
