Tailgate.

what do saturdays look like in your home in the months of september-december?
(well acutally it's more like august-january)
is your husband sitting on the couch from breakfast to dinner?
does he get up watch game day while eating breakfast?
okay so i may hold a grudge because during the fall homeboy is on his phone ALL. THE. TIME. doing his fantasy draft. doing his picks and whatnot. i thought it was a one time thing. WRONG.
they do it the entire seasons...trading places...blah blah blah.
calls my brothers and dad all time (that's kinda sweet, BUT not when the convo turns in the debate club)
now let's talk about duck games.
love them. i do.
BUT it's not just the game.

it's so much more.
it's the hour long convos to every duck fan in his phone the days before they even play talking about how they are going to win and how they can't lose.
then it's all the pre-game talk he listening to on the radio and watches on ESPN.
then it's the rankings. then it's game day. then it's watching all the other games that day that might effect the ducks rankings.
because if AZ loses where does that put us? if Florida ST. wins where does that put us?
then after the game it's the hour long convos about how nervous and scared he was during it. not mention he doesn't eat or can't eat during the game because his stomach is in knots.
then it's all the replays on ESPN. all the articles to be read recapping the game.
see why i sorta have this grudge about football season????
it's exhausting. it's suppose to be fun and sometimes it can be, BUT let be honest it's a little extensive. a little much.

that being said i decide to change my thinking. instead of holding a grudge. i make fancy appetizers that he won't even look at or consider eating. i online shop, more like price shop because i have a hard time making decisions and that's why i love online shopping because it allows you to take as much time as you want without a cashier looking at you like you have commitment issues.
i price shop for days or weeks or months until i find the price i'm willing to pay.

you know welch's grape juice is the bets year.
let's be honest mormons, it's kinda fun to drink out of a wine glass. it's kinda fun to feel fancy.

so trader joe's is the bomb. it's 45 mins away well more like an hour with all the crapping construction houston is taking part in.
i got the cutting board out our local grocery store (HEB)
the candle is a bath&body works candle. i'm obsessed with them because they always have sales and you can get them for under $10 a piece and they burn so well. they smell wonderful. what more do you need from a candle?

at the end of the day alls ya gotta say is...

GO DUCKS!!!!!
