Fentons Ice Cream.

Our treat overload weekend in California:

 Caulin was the only one who DIDN'T get a Black and Tan, swiss chocolate milk shake boy.

If you are ever in Oakland you MUST go to Fentons and you must order a Black & Tan. 

We have been going to this creamery since forever...seriously whenever we went to Grandma's and Grandpa's this is where we would always go for our big treat! We would buy the caramel to take home with us too. My dad and his brothers would go after temple trips, 

YES it's been around that long! 

 It was even in the movie Up, you can read about here. 

Let me warn you though, you will feel very fat if you eat there 3 days in a row. We seriously ate there everyday while we were in California. We ate there on the way down at the Vacaville location and split a Black&Tan, THEN we wanted more so we got a scoop each to go (BIG mistake). THEN the next day we went to the Oakland location (the original location). THEN the next day ate the to-go quart that we bought the night before. THEN the next day went on the way home and  we got a scoop each to go AGAIN!

Wow, I know we liked it that much.
