Puerto Rico Sun.

Our flight was cancelled to San Fransisco and United is dumb, therefore we were stressed out and had a five hour layover in Newark at 3 a.m. We slept on the floor, I felt homeless and dirty, oh and did I mention I had the flu during this extravaganza.   I spent $40 on meds at Hudson News, can you say overpriced NyQuil! Anyways 20 hours later we arrived in the Caribbean.
We learned that buying new cute luggage is never the way to go because they always end up getting dirty or damaged after first use.
We learned the Caribbean sun is very very hot!
We learned that pool side lunch service is paradise.
We learned pictures all sweaty and make-up free aren't the most flattering.
We learned pedicures are the cherry on top of a delicious vacation.
We learned pool time is our favorite time.
We learned San Juan has cool jewelry.
We learned everything taste better out of a coconut.
We learned s'mores roasted better from a gas fire pit rather than the ones you make at Girls Camp.
We learned room service is a new staple to our vacations.
We learned Andrew hates pictures taken after the 500th snap.
We learned Europeans take the best pictures.
We learned that waterfalls are the most refreshing thing after a hike in the rainforest.
We learned that zip lining is fun and scary at the same time.
We learned San Juan has colorful buildings.
We learned that we get late night munchies.
We learned that the fort's view is beautiful at sunset.
We learned that self timer is really annoying.
We learned that Iguana's like fruit by the pool.
We learned that the adult pool is much more relaxing.
We learned a lot on this trip to our sunny territory.  We loved it even though it felt like on big blur. I am sitting here going through pictures and thinking, WERE WE REALLY THERE? I can't believe we pulled it off. We left during finals week, that should explain it all. There was a NADCA conference that week so we had to go that week. We couldn't pass it up so we worked out all the kinks that come from missing school during the busiest time. Even though it was super stressful to get there it was worth it once we arrived in 87 degree weather with not a cloud in the sky.
More on the family portion of the trip:)
