Our Pippa Victoria.

The Story:
Mr. has wanted a dog ever since we got married, I resisted...I am not a huge doggie lover. He showed me a picture of a bulldog puppy and I was sold...IF we were to get a dog an English Bulldog would be the one. Our first Christmas comes around and Mr. dreams of getting a dog--it doesn't happen. Time goes by with googling bulldogs, which leads to looking at breeders. We contact many breeders with the disappointment of their litters sold out! Over and over again. We contact a breeder in San Diego and were going to get one shipped to us BUT we didn't feel 100% GREAT about it. We decide to wait...a day goes by and my friend sends me a pic of a bully that's for sale locally--we thought this is too good to be true AND it was--she was sold BUT then the breeder tells us her friend in Lebanon breeds and uses the same male. We think this could work, BUT first we wanted to meet with the breeder and see the puppies. The litter was all girls therefore that made the choice easy--we were getting a girl! We picked out a puppy and told them we won't be able to pick up the puppy until the next week (NYC happened that week). I come home from my trip and the very next day we were getting a puppy.
That day we go shopping for all things PUPPY! Actually really fun!
Never knew there was so many cute dog stuff out there in the world:
Got a little distracted with the cute kids clothes!
Shayla I had to take a pic of this fox sweater for you... or more like for baby future Benny Frandsen Jr.
What can I say homegirl loves animal sweaters.
We went to a doggie boutique for a special treat for our sweet puppy.
Okay so after the preparing we picked up Mr.'s mom and brother and headed up to Lebanon to bring home our puppy. It took some mind games to figure out the perfect name, we wanted something proper/english name to fit our bully-- nothing to "doggie"or "pet" name like Spots, Snots, Flashy (name suggestions from the breeder -- YIKES) So after some thought and research we came up with Pippa! We thought Victoria was so cute too but we didn't want people calling her "Aunt Vickie"--Parent Trap anyone? So we ended up just sticking it in as a "middle name" do dogs have middle names? Right when we got her we were straved and had to get some FOOD. We left her in the car and came back to a huge BLOW OUT beyond blow out of a dump city. WOW-weee! We thought we were going to die on the way home from the stench  Once we got the car cleaned and her cleaned we celebrated the little cutie. We are having so much fun with our little Pippa!
I made a little video to show off her rolls:
We are obsessed with our Pippa!
