We had a green weekend!
St. Patty's Parade downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday morning.
We decided it doesn't get much cuter then a French&English Bulldog playin!
If he was single Pippa would be quite the chick magnet |
HOW cute is this boxer!? they loved each other.
Pippa made so many friends with all the dogs except for the dachshund...story of her life.
WOW wee, was Ms. Pippa POPULAR! it almost became a hassle with all the stops and photos that people wanted. I mean it was fun after the 27th person, then after the 56th person we were kinda overwhelmed haha BUT not PIPPA she was LOVING life. She LOVES attention she was just shakin her little booty with excitement with all the love she was getting that morning.
The whipped cream was TO DIE FOR! how can I make whipped cream like this?!?
So thick and sweet.
Okay so this waffle place is really similiar to Off The Waffle in Eugene but you can get their "famous" fries that cost 3.95 for a small and didn't taste good! Im not a huge fry person BUT my husband is and he threw these out so I KNOW
that these babies aren't top notch as far as french fries go.
Sunday morning Andrew made a St. Patty breakfast which consisted of
green pancakes topped with lucky charms! After church we got together
with some friends, we all brought a some type of green dish. It was an
experience eating green patatoes. I made green bread with green garlic
butter, along with two green drinks and green chocolate chip cookies OH
and lucky charm rice crispy treats.
Now for some baking action:
Then we headed back home for some basketball watching and baking for Sundays pot-luck.
Lazy Sunday naps by my two cuties.
The evening ended with the Best Costume award,
which consisted of a green box filled with yummy green treats.
Funny story about the outfits.
I got a text saying come dressed up in green attire because there will be a prize for the best.
I told Mr. that we should face paint our faces, he said no.
Good thing we didn't BECAUSE we were all ready decked to the max compared the one green clothing items of everyone else.
So funny, I always over do it in the costume department.
