Cookies and Showers.

I got a cookie kick. So I made this "perfect" chocolate chip cookies. They were large and chewy and three days later they tasted just as good, whereas with my other choc. chip recipe tasted good the day you make them and thats about it. I didn't think they were perfect but they were def good.

Since I was on this kick I decided to search for the perfect chip cookie...

In between baking that week we took the shower doors off our showers. Well Mr. did it and I handed him tools BUT then I dealt with the aftermath, which was way harder. I scraped and scraped FOREVER. I used acetone to get the glue off and the fumes were maybe a titch intense.
3 hours later the showers looked great.

This is on a Saturday morning. So Mr. just woke up. I put him right to work otherwise if he hits the couch he ends up stuck. It only took 15 mins to take them down. So I didn't feel to bad.

Okay so the cookie kick continues....
I decided to make these 72 hours cookies. You make the dough then put them in your fridge to sit. for 24-72 hours or you can freeze them after or bake them. These New York Times cookies were delish AND super convenient to have cookie dough in the freezer to whip out if you feel like a cookie or two. or three. or maybe even four.

I love baking, but when you bake for two a batch of cookies can't get eaten and you end up throwing a bunch away. So thats why I love this recipe because you don't have to do entire batch right away.

Dough that I had made in the past and frozen didn't taste good. These won't do that to you.

enjoy bakin.
