Dates on a Date.

There is a place in the desert called Shields Date Garden. It's a farm full of California grown dates. Have you ever eaten a date? turns out they look like cockroaches. I couldn't even get myself to sample one, however the date shake sounds okay. Turns out it tastes like carmel chocolate milk shake. 

This farm has a gift shop with really random things in it, which made for an interesting afternoon. They also have a restaurant where you can eat things that are date infused. We passed by.

After the date farm we hopped in the pool to cool off. I bought us some goggles so we could starting swimming, ya know laps, ya know Michael Phelps style.
