25.

I'm thinking today I want to rent a car...
BECAUSE we CAN now that Mr. turned 25 today.
oldie pie.

I feel like 25 sounds so much older then 24? ...right?
I remember when we got married (age 22... aka... age young) we were so bummed because we had to pay the extra fee on a car rental on our honeymoon because neither one of us were of "renting age". We kept saying "only THREE more years and we can rent a car"

three years later and we got ourselves a 25 year old who can rent a car. exciting stuff. you know for us, morms, 25 might be the most exciting age to turn because 18 really isn't THAT cool because we don't shouldn't gamble, we don't smoke...so buying cigarettes on the 18th b-day doesn't happen AND tattoos are out of the question...typically AND then there is the BIG 21 which isn't even exciting at all because... well, ordering a Shirley Temple just isn't that cool. soooooo 25 is really cool BECAUSE it's the FIRST birthday that we actually look forward to doing something that a previous age once prevented.

Now about this 25 year old of mine...he is special. I want to share 25 things that makes him so special:
25. he makes me laugh.
24. he's beyond sweet.
23. he's a softy for almost anything that has paws or rolls (puppies or babies).
22. he loves me when I'm ugly, bad breath, PMSing, stupid...or any other bad time.
21. he sacrifices.
20. he's a great speller and is much better then any auto-corrector.
19. he is up for adventure 97% of the time.
18. he wants me chill, rest and relax.
17. he cares about family and talks about our future kids daily.
16. he forgets his own feelings to keep peace.
15. he works hard everyday to pay the bills and never complains about it.
14. he is positive and hopeful.
13. he is lighthearted and doesn't take things too serious.
12. he forgives and forgets and reminds me to do the same.
11. he is goofy.
10. he is strong&tall and lifts heavy things and reaches high things for me.
9. he's hot.
8. he's loyal.
7. he's simple and I mean that in a good way.
6. he's smart even though he doesn't think he is.
5. he's calm and steady, doesn't get fired up or angry (i have never heard him swear)
4. he's a good person with a good heart.
3. he's faithful and committed.
2. he's childlike...so humble, so easy-going, so fun...tenderrrrrrrr soul.
1. he is comfortable. he feels like home. he is home. he is the most comfortable person to be around. I have felt just as comfortable from day 1 as I do on day 30, 011. he brings me comfort. this world is crazy and unpredictable so having comfort is crucial to me. thank you to my 25-year-old for being my necessity in life.
