Mele Kalikimaka

...onto the second half of the trip...

i told you about the view from our room. i wasn't kidding when i said it was beautiful ^^

whalers village was just a little short walk on the beach.
we did some shopping with that visa gift card, thanks to LESLIE'S!
after some local flip flops purchases later we got some yogurtland and called it an outing.
we have NO good yogurt places in the desert.
golden spoon is the best thing they got.
no shave ice either so you can only imagine how much we loved our cold treats.

we took a few shots on our way back to our hotel.

after our whalers fun we went to old town for some burgers in paradise and some scotty tunes.

the food isn't that good, but the view and of course the live music makes it all worth the $10...for a soda!!! yeah you heard me right. $10 for a refillable coke.

ABC stores are everywhere, filled with coconut syrups and postcards.

so this fudge place was recommended to us by our burger waiter.
he said it was delish.
it was.
i ate the entire fudge 1/4 lb. by myself.
not in one sitting.
but the whole thing nonetheless.

topped of the evening with a shave ice.
ugh.
we need shave ice in this hot hot hot desert of ours.

so our hotel was...was...gorge.
best hotel we have ever stayed at.
not like we have stayed at million hotels or anything.
but it was.
it was lush, modern, with oriental touches.

when we got back to our room there was another gift! from Leslie.
by day 3 we finally caught on to the fact that this was a daily ritual.
and the great part about these gifts they were practical and totally useful.

once again. thank. you. leslie's.
below are the gifts throughout our stay.

i was really excited that there was some sunbum sunscreen because i only brought my face spf AND the fact that everyone is raving about sunbum, however it was a bit pricey so i never got on the bandwagon. soooooo it was great getting it as a gift.

also those waterproof/floating wallet, camera, glasses cases were terrific for our kayaking adventure.
something i would never think of buying myself so another great gift.
bravo leslie's.

also the gift bag was a cooler. bomb. love this for beach days during the summer.

so leslie's treated us to gourmet breakfast buffet looking over a waterfall every single morning.
our first breakfast back we mourned the loss of our banana bread, guava pancakes, omelets, and P.O.G. juice.

our view at breakfast wasn't toooooo bad ^^

they also had egg white omelets which made me ever so happy.

our last gift ^^.
once i get the video from our trip i will totes be posting it.
so freakin hilar.

iPhone photo dump post from our trip will be happening because it's sometimes hard hauling your camera everywhere.

ya know?
thank goodness for those iPhones.
