Para, Para...Paradise.

As many of my instagram followers already know Mr. won a trip with his company.
people are already asking us how he can take so much time off with hawaii trip and then OR for Christmas...well friends hawaii doesn't count as "time off days" (great) (so great)
so with "all" those time off days that he didn't have to use in HI he was able to save for our OR trip.

the top 3 CAE's in the company win.
Leslie's Pool Supply treat its employees right!
Mr. has only been working for them since May so this was a huge surprise that he got in the "president's club" (that's what they call it)
so proud of him.
all that hard work paid off...got us to hawaii.

i had some red velvet hot cocoa...it was pink...it was interesting.
i didn't finish it. that should say something.

this was really cool. ^^ having people hold up signs with your name.

when we got to the hotel they put a lei around our necks and handed us a bag full of stuff. shirts, hats, gift card. & we had lunch waiting for us. wraps, salads, sandwiches, and desert bar.
we were blown away right off the shuttle.

all checked in ^^

after we ate we headed to our room and were stunned by the view:
(p.s. close your eyes if a belly button scares you, don't say i didn't warn you)

the view, the view, THE VIEW. it was like a painting. or a book or whatever!

after hitting the beach we through on some "costumes" for the halloween in hawaii party.
it's so funny/great that every year at presidents's club they have a costume party.
we all know how much i appreciate this.
i wanted to go all out BUT i told mr. he was in charge. so out 1:15am i asked him what he had planned/packed for our costumes. he jumps out of bed and starts packing stuff and says "we're going to be nerds".
so easy, yet great.

andrew was killlllllllin it on the dance floor.

the party started to die down.

basically i went overboard on my insta posts. it wasn't my fault that everywhere you turn there is a photo op.

maui is beautiful and the most relaxing island. it's not where you want to go if your looking to go-go-go. cause there isn't much to go to...besides the pool or beach. for us that was perfect.

we honeymooned in Oahu. it was perfect. lots to eat and do plus some pool/beach time.

we got engaged in maui.
and then back to hawaii we went.
it has been almost 3 years since we have been back. i forgot how amazing the weather is!

hands down hawaii has the BEST weather all. year. round.
82 degrees with the perfect amount of humidity.
my skin needed the moisture that the humidity gives.

the air smells and feels terrific on our desert dry skin.

the flowers and colors of the blue sky and ocean was unforgettable.

i could go on and on about the beauty.
i think i have been around to much brown cause i felt like i was in a painting of exploding colors.

awwwww gosh i want to go back...tomorrow.
if not, then next years president's club.
i told andrew we got to hit those numbers.
ha notice the "we" in there.
i got to do my part in get us there too! if that means dinner on the table after long days then that's what will happen.  bahahaha no but really we gotta go next year and the next year and the next year!

everything was paid for, even our checked bags.
they gave us $300 gift card to spend on whatever our heart desired. for us that meant poolside smoothies, shave ice, and shopppppping.
&
we got a gift bag every night.

alright now for some photos of our week in paradise:

*the view from our room was gorgeous. we would open the window in the morning and before bed and listen to the ocean and sunsets.

*we got robes. i would lounge in the robe while looking out our view from bed. loved every second.

i love the store Lush. it smells amazing and ^^ when you got in sampling you want to buy the whole store. i dream of a huge tub with a shelf of Lush products.

*we walked around old town lahaina and shopped the hilar tourist shops with our gift card.

^^ bubba wubba...^^

i got these glasses from tj's ...michael kors. i love them.

paradise burger's is a hilar spot from the last time we were in maui. we discovered scotty rotten.
we thought he was amazing, so we bought his cd. we were so excited to listen to it...BIGGEST disappointment ever. every song was original. and the word "original" is perfect to describe that album. holy hilar. worse songs. the songs were crack ups. one was about being a volleyball king.

anyways long story short. we went back and they said scotty was still there and performing on thursday night! that was our free night so we thought how perfect it was to go back and listen to good ol' scotty.

i requested my brother's fav song:

*we loved the hawaiian christmas decor & music.

the luau was bomb. man, the pig was delish although i had a moment of silence as it passed by me on the way to the table for eating. it's a little weird see a WHOLE cooked pig before you. something you don't really want to see.

i really want to put on a luau now. how hard can it be?

okay this dressing...new fav

i ate lots and lots of papaya. ^^ it's one of my fav fruits BUT never get it. i ate so much i thought i would turn orange.

how bomb is hawaiian food^^ ?

pretty horrible photos of the luau. struggle trying to lighten these babies up^^.
wish we would have not used an iPhone.

fire dancers. um don't try it at home.

just part one of the trip.
more to come...even if you can't stand it...
