The Night Before Christmas.

the night before christmas we ate, sang, played, and created.
mom made some rolls that were all in love with and still dream about.
penny sang songs (which were def recorded).
mom gave us our 2013 ornament.
we played the "favorite things" game.
we made a gingerbread village.

it was a festive night...as christmas eve should be.

let me begin and end quickly how we struggled to get a "christmas family picture"
it was actually hilar.
i had sarah, joe and rachel try and things were just not working in the photogenic department.

we missed little evy... snapchats will just have to do...for now!! texas spring break trip?! :)

entertainment you can't get anywhere else! 

she was sad she didn't have a fancy dress on for the fancy dinner. thank goodness for GiGi's dress-up box. 

yeah that's a Victoria Secret Semi Annual sale magazine. whoopsie how did that get in this hands. 

this year we played a game where you write a compliment/what you love about every person at the table. then someone reads your compliments to the whole table.

we all got the same ones this year.
mom had a spiritual lesson to go along with the ornament. ss.

i'm def thinking of a carnival themed party this spring with that cotton candy machine.

so many traditions we can't leave behind.
