Boxes.

We drove into Houston on Friday night, two tollways & $3.50 later we pulled up to our new home in Humble, TX.

On Saturday morning, peeps from church came over to help unload the uhaul. I have always been grateful for my church, BUT now that i've moved 3 times in the past year i feel beyond grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I honestly do not know what i would do without it. We would have a heck of a hard time finding friends without it! we have been so lucky finding instant friends & getting so much help packing and unpacking.

i'm going to miss sunnybrook drive
now it's about time for this post for some the "moving faces" of pippa.
her faces killed me.
she would look at me saying "this is really boring" or "how much longer" or "where's my yard"
she was such a good pup. she slept and looked out the window.
she wouldn't drink the water i gave her at our gas station stops, but she wouldn't drink it because she knew she wouldn't be able to potty right away...even though i would have stopped...such a funny girl.

saying hi to mr. on the road

Our heat and water wasn't turned on until today! aka it was 3 nights of wearing sweatshirts and socks to bed. thank goodness for my cousin who let us shower at her house.

Today (monday) was Mr. first day at work with his new promotion. Don't know how he got up at 6am this morning and drove an hour to work in traffic and an hour back. Welcome to the big city. TRAFFIC.

Everyone is super hospitable. So friendly!
ALSO good news...we passed a sign yesterday that said "Bahama Bucks Coming Soon!"
which means we will have shave ice literally down the street.

p.s. it poured today! LOUD rain! pippa was freaked. it was like she was never born in OR and never went through potty training in a OR winter. she is such a CA pup. she misses her sun bathing, however she loves her new yard and loves going up and down the stairs...its actually pretty cute seeing her hop down the stairs to the kitchen for breakfast.
