The Lauren Style: Laguna Beach.

after a month of bi-poler weather i REALLY miss our predictable california. it was always a 99.9% chance it would be sunny.
i miss the sun.
TX is cloudy...but warm? rainy... but warm? but always cloudy...the sun comes out randomly.
it will be 70 degrees all morning and then BAM! clouds and DOWNPOUR.
it's like the scene in The Notebook.
ya know when it's all sunny on the canoe and then BAM, DOWNPOUR!

growing up in oregon i was skeptical of the fact that a thunderstorm could turn on like a light switch. now living in the south i now know that it does happens all the time!!
i was use to rain all the time. the predictable rain. the non-stop rain.
i'm not use to the bi-poler weather.
in utah it was a guarantee it was going to be freezing.
in california it was a guarantee it was going to be sunny.
in texas it's up in the air. for instance it was so so nice this week here
BUT then today it was cloudy and humid.

okay enough of this weather talk nonsense.
now for my favorite part about blogging...the pictures:

all of this weather talk has a purpose.
in january we met up with friends at laguna beach.
andrew had never been.
i had been once, but that once made it my favorite CA beach.
i had to show mr. the best beach before we moved.
he kept saying "how can it be that cool"
i kept saying "just wait and see"

he now knows the truth about laguna.
it just IS really cool.
